This is a low-pressure, welcoming space for first-timers, longtime writers, and everyone in between. Bring a piece you’ve been polishing for years—or something you wrote on a napkin this afternoon. Read, listen, cheer people on, and discover voices you never knew your community had.

The Patio Poets: Third Reading of the 2026 Season

The Patio Poets is a Southwest Colorado program that selects twelve rural poets each year, pays them for their work, and mails their poems as printed broadsides to subscribers across the country.
